We were delighted to win the the Broadland Green at Heart Award in the 2024

Scrapbox re-opened on the 7th September having fully refurbished both our shop and warehouse. We started weighing all sales so we can really see the impact we are making to our goal of saving landfill. We are delighted to announce that we saved over 750kg – that’s three quarters of a tonne – of materials going into landfill in September. These materials have lovely new homes with our creative Scrapboxers to re-use for their projects. Also in September we welcomed 24 new members and 6 new Life Members. In total, Scrapbox now has over 300 loyal customers making a difference to the world we live in. Keep up the good work everyone.

For the last 8 years, when you walk into Scrapbox, you will have been greeted by the smiling faces of Tula and Gina and some of 20 plus volunteers. On Saturday 3rd August both Tula and Gina will retire from Scrapbox leaving behind them a legacy of hard work and dedication to a charity which has saved thousands of tonnes of usable materials ending up in landfill and instead which has been re-used and re-purposed.

We cannot thank Tula and Gina enough for what they have done over the last 8 years and wish them both a very happy retirement. Join us on Saturday 3rd August for cake and drinks to say goodbye.
